Professional Projects
Every year, our Year 12 (Lower Sixth) students take part in a week-long Professional Projects scheme, which is part of our Future Leaders programme in the Sixth Form. They work with leading industry partners to develop new ideas, find solutions to a range of different problems and work together on a project for the organisations.
Our 2024 programme, which ran over the week before half-term in the summer term, has been a huge success and would not be possible without the support of the external companies who we work with - John Lewis, Rider Levett Bucknall, PACT, UWE, Roberts Radio, Boomsatsuma and WSP.
Projects included designing a sustainable school for the future, detecting cancer earlier to improve survival rates, increasing competitiveness in the retail market, designing a new bridge across the Avon Gorge and designing social media campaigns, including making TikToks. All groups presented to a packed Hall and delivered pitches in the style of Dragons' Den.
Well done to all the students who have worked so hard; the feedback has been outstanding.
