Pupils are required to purchase a bus pass, which is charged to termly invoices. The price depends on the zone in which your required bus stop is located. On rare occasions, and if bus capacity has been confirmed in advance, one-off tickets can be purchased from the school office.

One-Off (single) Single (per term) Return (per term)
Zone 1 £3.30 £96.25 £192.50
Zone 2 £4.40 £123.75 £247.50
Zone 3 £5.50 £192.50 £363

If you are interested in signing up for the School Bus Service, please contact the school by emailing schooltransport@collegiate.org.uk or calling 0117 965 5207.

South Bristol School Minibus Service

The school also operates their own South Bristol service covering Long Ashton, Bishopsworth, Winterstoke Road and Hotwells. You can view the bus route HERE. Please note that the afternoon route operates 'in reverse', largely due to road layout and congestion avoidance, but also resulting in all students having approximately equal travel time each day. The confirmed termly fare is therefore £360 for all passengers (return basis only). If you are interested in this route and would like further information, please contact the school by emailing schooltransport@collegiate.org.uk or calling 0117 965 5207.

Other Transport

The school has a covered bike shed for pupils wishing to cycle.

Parking

To ensure the safety of our pupils whilst on the school grounds, and unless parents/guardians have a disability parking badge, they are not permitted to park on site, except for Saturday fixtures and specific events.

Dropping off/picking up by School gates

Please do not block the turning circle outside the front gate by dropping off or picking up in this area. Stopped cars in this area very quickly cause congestion, which in turn leads to dangerous situations for our children as they enter and leave the school. It is also a very poor message to send to our young people: by parking inconsiderately, dangerously or illegally, we are telling them that they are somehow more important than anyone else in the community. Please help us to help your children by setting a good example and parking considerately.

Sixth Form students

Students who wish to drive a car into school must fill out a consent form in order to be issued with a permit. These can be found on the Parent Portal and completed forms should be handed in to the School Office.

If you are being driven to/from school by another student then you also need to fill out a form and hand it to Ms Porter (Head of Sixth Form).
