Support and Extension

The Learning Support Department supports pupils from all year groups.

As a school that takes children from the age of almost three-years-old, we can find that pupils need slightly different types of support. We have many pupils who require extending and we are very well placed to support this. We are also highly successful in supporting pupils with mild SEND requirements.

Our dedicated whole school SENDco team can support assessments and develop plans for pupils with certain needs. We are always very happy to discuss a pupil’s current situation prior to starting any assessments for entry. The most important part of the process is making sure the pupil will be happy and thrive within the school that we are.

There is an additional fee for SEND support at Collegiate School.

English as an additional language

Pupils with EAL needs receive specific support catered to in a number of streams based on pupils’ language assessment. The level of EAL support is tailored to each pupil. An additional charge for this service may be required.
